Ok, so I don't believe there have been any threads about
this album, so I decided to make the first one!

I love it... real nice all the way through...

Nice morph job there on your hair, funk...

I love this album...it is probably my fave Aphex release.
The thing I like about it is its simplicity....much like
808State's Newbuild. It is amazing how artists make such
brilliant music when they have such limited resources.

i believe SAW 85-92 IS the best Aphex release, but i have
trouble accepting it.

he's released so many good albums that i've bought and
become one with. i want, with all my heart, to be able to
see he made a BETTER album LATER in his career.

but i just don't think it's happened.

SAW 85-92 forever.

SAW 85-92 is a great album, eash track is of the sama
qualitiy, no filler ups and all in the same atmosfere.

For me it is one of his best (I never say which one is his
best as that is changeing with my moods and so on).

its great... but this one track.. where theres this beat
that switches into another beat for 8 bars or so and then
back to the other beat (sorry i should look that up)

i hate it... it spoils the entire cd for me

i appreciate you starting the first thread, i was scared
:0/

i think that SAW85-92 is not as ambient as sawII is, 85-92
is almost technoey in areas, more beats

i can listen to 85-92 all the way though anyday, sawII i
have to be in the right mood to get though one disk

I am pretty sure that there are more threads about saw I but
one more is never too much, cos it is really a great and
very important release in music history

I've really been listening to it closely the last while, and
the loops are real cool... they might be simple compared to
some of his newest stuff, but they still sound pretty damn
cool... and so what if it's simple, it's still his most
beautiful album imo...

I really enjoy Actium as of late... never really like it,
but I do now... it's very hypnotic...

yes i did noitce, i had that feeling that what i was looking
at wasn't quite right and then i clicked about an hour
later...

yes, i find it inspirational music, beautiful and all that
ranting. it is def. NOT my favourite however that depends on
my mood or what i'm doing really. most of the time it would
be 'SAWvol2' mainly because i can meditate easier to that
and it helps with the lucid dreaming etc...

saw85-92 gave me a bad reaction at first. i was enjoying the
songs yes, but i felt ashamed at first with the types of
soundes used and the unexpirmental nature of it...

but i curbed my ego on that matter and it didn't take long
for me to love the sounds and become a wash in the
melodies...
