so, i wanted to make a small mixing studio at home. i got a
second turntable from my friend, and i wanted to make a
crossfader at home. so i went to a electronics shop at the
corner and asked after crossfaders. so he said that the
biggest he had were about 60mm. that's not much. so i phoned
to a profesional factory of electronic parts, but they said
i need to tell them what exactyl i need. how much ohms (???)
or kilowatt or something...
does anybody know something about electronics and can help
me ? thanks

i dont think your gonna get real far making electronics if
you dont know what ohms are:P

try doing a search for a DIY synth site of something, you
might find more info.

Are you trying to make a mixer from scratch?

I recommend you buy a cheap second hand one unless you're an
electronics buff...

can't you explain it to me ?

ceri: it's way more fun to make something for yourself...
even if you don't know anything about it. i don't want a
whole mixer, just a crossfader that's all.

crossfaders arent that tough really

have you build circuits before... or do you know anything
about circuitry?
