other than his collaboration with Dj Shadow, does anyone have any clues on what`s he been up to?
With the lack of strength of a pop-seller Audioslave, i need to listen to new stuff from this guy.

i had the most annoying experience relating to this. i was listening to the radio on the way to a gig and on one station they played an audioslave song, a ratm song, and after that they dj guy says "okay, since we played some audioslave, and ratm, we're now going to play some of Zach's new music.. ..so they play the dj shadow/de la rocha song, but now, instead of letting everyone hear only the music like what happened during audioslave and ratm, he damn near talks through the entire thing.. saying stupid comments like "yep...here's another artist speaking out against the war" and "oooh.... here comes my favorite part of the about...................................................... song...............right ..............now!" he completely ruined the song...it was a atrocious

If you're such a Zack fan, you might be interested in his band before Rage. the ban's called Inside Out, and they released "No Spiritual Surrender" in 1990 (not completely sure about that year, I only have the remastered CD version of 1995). It's comparable to rage probably, but les technical.

yea there's some info on this page here, it's alphabetical (after specific release dates, that is)
p.s. the album is done and waiting to be promoted
inside out is a sort of punk/hardcore band zack pretty much disowns..

Center of the Storm with Roni Size was horrible... definitly not his better work, total lack of energy from him
I'm waiting for some new stuff myself, I want to see the same sort of heavy lyrical overload he did in the earlier RATM albums

because he's popular, originated "rap metal" (let's pretend biohazard never existed), and most importantly, it's not electronic music ;)
seriously, this will be an amazing album.. it's going to be hip-hop, not like Rage or anything.. at least wait till you hear it before bashing it

i don't think "center of the storm" OR "march of death" are horrible! different strokes for different folks!
as the link i provided above shows, lots of different producers are involved, so if you don't like the 1 or 2 roni size contributions you'll have at least 10 other songs to dive into.

well in my book most "rap/metal" is better than most rap or metal.

name some of your favorite rap/metal bands, because most music fans will quickly tell you that they prefer their metal and "rap" (hip-hop) seperate.. myself included!

well i mean more mainstream music at least.. i like ratm, i like some of the music for limp bizkit on some songs, (not the rap part though.. i like the guitar).. some of the rap/metal stuff on cypress hill's newer albums is nice, i like the deftones, which has some rap.. i do enjoy some more underground rap/hip hop and metal.. maybe i should have rephrased that before..

i wouldn't say deftones are rap/metal at all... plus let's not forget cypress hill never really used live guitars till the last 2 albums in their 10 album rap career
i agree that some RATM and bizkit songs are actually pretty good but i'm not a fan of either. i like some metal and i am in love with hip-hop but i'm not too keen on rap/metal (bands that would label themselves that, not questionable choices like deftones and cypress even though i see your point on some songs).

I did enjoy Rage Against the Machine... I own the album Evil Empire, and it's cool... they were doing rap rock first, before it was "cool" and then overexposed... I love the songs Bulls on Parade, and People of the Sun... the two singles, but they're still great songs!

evil empire is their worst imo (here's a little secret; i own all of ratm albums, they seemed good at the time hehehe)
my favorite would probably be renegades-their covers of some evergreens, and i think they done it splendid!

Why is that a secret? I own them all as well, and just every now and then I play them, definately the first one. It stood the test of time for me, and it brings back memories.
