haven't listened to them in ages, but just put them on... their music is awesome! Nice bluesy rock music, but still interesting! Some of my favorite tracks are
Stairway to Heaven (obviously) Traveling Riverside Blues Hey Hey What Can I Do Over the Hills and Far Away Gallows Pole The Rain Song No Quater The Song Remains the Same In My Time of Dying
so, who else likes them, and what are your favorite songs?

When the Levee Breaks. Always a party hit. Kristin Hersh did a cover which I bought but have never listened to out of fear of finding it's awful.

Damn straight! If it wasn't 3:30am I'd stick it on now. Bizarrely I've also just got a craving for Laurie Anderson in the last five minutes.

i only like a few zep songs... no quarter live versions, stairway (of course), going to california.. the rest i can either just tolerate or i can't stand
robert plant's voice is a tricky one for me.. sometimes it works really well but most of the time it's very grating for me

nod, I agree... but when he's really on, I think he has one of the best voices for rock... at least in his prime he did... now he just sounds old! :)

since i first started listening to music, zeppelin has been on my top three list of favorite artists--any genre, any period of time....i could talk for at least a fucking hour about this band, but i won't. they are to me one of the most versatile and inventive groups there's ever been....john paul jones wrote bass lines of a style that hip hop artists hadn't starting fully tapping into until the early nineties, crossing not only the time barrier but also a barrier between rock and a genre that hadn't even begun to form at the time.....robert plant could scream and make it sound just as good as when sang softly, something all great rock vocalists must be able to do (chino moreno, world-record-breaking maynard james keenan, so on)......john bonham was the first to popularize and utilize the triplet on a single bass drum with a style other than acidic jazz (mother fucker would play 30 minute solos with his bare hands UNTIL THEY BLED and still keep going).....i'm not even gonna get started on jimmy page. it's very rare to find four white guys in one place at the same time who all have as great an understanding of soulful black music as these men had.
since i've been loving you the rain song in the light friends babe i'm gonna leave you the lemon song the list goes on and on and on and on....

ehh, led zeppelin is kinda boring for the most part, theres a few tracks that are good but overall I really dont care for them. that when the levee breaks song is rather annoying I think as is stairway to heaven which I loathe. theres some good stuff on physical graffiti that I can't remember the names of, I like No Quarter a lot but Tool's cover destroys the original.

I got bored of them a couple years ago, but I'll still kick out the jams with them now and again. They can still squeeze my lemon till the juice runs down my leg if I'm in the mood.
Best songs-
Dazed and Confused No Quarter (you can SMELL the Norsemen!) Out on the Tiles That's the Way Black Dog The Rover (their best song, I think... FUCK Stairway and that atroicious Kashmir)
Over the Hills and Far Away Rain Song
