I took acid before I even smoked a spliff or got drunk. At my school it was easy to get and very cheap. Was into it & shrooms for a while, but not anymore, haven't had anything like that in years. I know people who never really came back after large doses. |

i've done nutmeg didn't really get anything out of it. you have to eat a tremendous lot to get any effect and it can be quite toxic so it's probably not a good idea. DXM is in cough syrup/cough suppressants. if you do DXM you want to try to get pure stuff without a lot of nasal decongestants/asprin/ or other drugs in it. The other stuff will make you pretty sick but if you get good stuff, it is quite pleasant. also, different amounts can get you to different "plateaus." i used to know a good DXM website, if i can find the link i'll post it. |

this site, errowid is a great site for this kind of things. just remember kids: 1. never trip by yourself. 2. if its your first time with anything, do it with an experienced person, do some research, and/or keep one person sober untill you are comfortable with your state. 3. you are always better off if you ease yourself into any new drug. dont start with huge doses or you could find yourself overwhelmed. play safe! |

I don't think tripping alone is such a bad thing, I've never done it myself but from what I hear it's a nice way to chow shrooms for the first time. A few of my friends did and they all went in different directions walking along the beach and nearby forests, running into each other every now and again, where they tell tales of their adventure, laugh a bit, have a smoke and move on. Just don't go taking anything by yourself in your bedroom or anything. |

i've tripped alone. i just mention that it's not a good idea because when you are alone is when you are most likely to be subject to the horror of an introspective life analysis. i guess i should have said. "don't trip alone untill you are a seasoned tripper." it just seems that most of the 'tripping alone' stories i have heard always include events like sitting in a bathtub crying for a couple hours or some shit. if you got good people around you, this kind of thing is less likely to happen. moderation and responsibility are the keys to a good trip. |

Ahh, DXM that's what that cough syrup stuff is called. I hadn't done any hallucinogens (besides weed) until last year, and I hadn't had to take cough medacine until recently. So I had a sore throat and really downed a bunch of that stuff, not knowing it was the DXM stuff. I never noticed, but that stuff does have hallucinatory type affects, it was weird, but the medicine makes you tired. I listened to keynell and envane, rad!! |

I ate a lot of mushrooms last time at a small party of my friends, but I was the only one who ate them. I basically had a bad trip, the environment was shitty, it was cold outside, his yard and surroundings are all run down, I couldn't get comfortable. But the biggest problem was I ate too much. I almost blacked out a couple times and I puked up black slimy mushroom shit in his sink and I didn't regain full sensation in my arms for a while, they felt like they were asleep for a couple hours. It was shitty. |
