one of my best methods for dealing with writers block is to
park my car somewhere with a nice view, get really baked and
listen to music. you might want to bring a note pad or
something if you think you won't be able to remember your
ideas when you are stoned.
i get many of my best ideas this way.

start doing covers (or remixes, but it'd be easier to just
start with covers) and add your own touches to them until
you get bit by the creative bug and get ideas for your own
shit

Shit I get it all the time, with absolutely everything (life
block).

I get back into it usually by at first ripping off someone
elses style, then slowly tweaking things until they become
mine again. Or something like that.

Like a few hours ago for example, I was out of ideas, so I
reassembled a drum loop VSnares style and, well it ended up
shit but nevertheless...

Write music when you feel like it.
