i wear gargantuan bug-eyed spectacles and i still can't read
a damn thing!
it goes from loading up all huge-ass to being resized into
super-small ... what the... ? can someone just summarize the
thing in a few lines?

the economy is in its state for numerous reasons; reasons
not proposed by that site/image.

you wouldn't understand.

it all has to do with invisible forces of evil which dubya,
for fear that they shall pose a threat to the american
people, will attempt to exorcise by staging a world-wide
witchhunt involving all non-christians being burned at the
stake.

Are you refering to me? If you are then that is quite an
ignorant assumption to be making.

Anyways, I find it rather strange they would post that
article in the Washington Post.

no, i was making light of elusive (see the post below mine)
saying: "you wouldn't understand" ... i asked someone to
summarize what that article said, since i couldn't read it
(too damn small), and that's pretty well what he wrote.

why thank you. i had to teach myself to make my eye emit a
flash of light in order to make it. =)

i'd read it myself if it wasn't so puny. any way i can
enlarge it? it first loads up in readable-size text, but
eventually gets all puny for some reason.

more conspiricy stuff, why do you have instant credibility
if you simply post your opinion on the internet?

We hear the mass slooms of extreme right wing propaganda
every day and everywhere 24/7 if you live in the United
States. Its nice to see the extreme left side every now and
then. And actually, if you read and subscribed to the "From
the wilderness" newsletter, you would find that many of
these acusations are very credible.

oh come off, I LIVE in left extremistville

the most liberal city in this country, easily.

It's just more of the same, there is always an audience for
the extreme.

People promoting calm rational thinking don't get air time.

[comes off]

I like to see both extreme sides really. Because then using
common deductive reasoning you can better see things for
what they are, somewhere in the grey area near the middle.

EXTREME COLD, EXTREME TASTE, MOUNTAIN DEW! IS IT IN YOU?!

Investigate the mystic numerology behind the date (and other
dates).

JFK assassination has interesting mystical numerological
correlations.

"People promoting calm rational thinking don't get air
time."

Sadly true. Rabble rousing, extremist propoganda (on either
side) makes for far better TV/newspaper stories...

I just don't care anymore what I read in the news. Everyone
just uses whatever "facts" (please note the speech marks) to
back up their side of the argument and refute the other
side's "facts" as propoganda. I really wonder about what
people actually use to form their opinions rather
than just back them up.

the mainstream US media almost exclusively panders to the
far-right (seeing as its mostly owned by Capitalists, who
are hardly going to give air-time to Left-Wing/Socialistic
points of view).

And since the US citizenry is systematically brainwashed
(successfully or attempted) from birth, then a high number
of people buy it, then buy the hats and flags and banners
and call anyone who disagrees 'traitors' or 'communists'.

what was the fucking point of that. i think the united
states is the first country to ever enjoy war.

Hmmm, I know you said US, but BBC is incredibly left wing in
many ways...

You might also want to read what Anne F. Coulter has to say
on the matter- she points out very rationally that actually
the media is dominated by the left, especially when
reporting on politics.

Well definatly not the first...

But yea, it was like they were airing Tom Cruise movies...
boom bang.. wow did you see that one go? It was all
entertainment on CNN and EVERY other news channel... it was
sick.

I would say the BBC was more 'skeptic' than Left-Wing.

Fair point- they just seem to like picking holes in
everything... as the right are in power (yes "labour" are
pretty right wing in my book ;) )they get the largest share
of the attack :D
