new experimental track - 2iu01

i made a new track recently called "2iu01" (for an upcoming
set of songs called 2iu) under my "other" name cartbot. it
is different from anything else i have made and is probably
my most experimental track. i made it in buzz using the
master machine to constantly change the bpm. if anyone
would listen to it and leave feedback on what you think it
would be greatly appreciated.

the zebox site, click on 2iu01

thank you :)

its interesting but kinda boring. i guess it would be good
as a soundtrack kind of score piece for a prelude scene to
some subterranian robot kung fu battle.

when you say expreimental are you just referring to the
changing tempo? i'm not sure you broke any new ground. or
maybe i just missed the point which is possible as i only
listened to it once.
its a good start though. i just think it is building to
something but just doesn't deliver. maybe you had another
track planned to follow it? something with some energy?

hey. that's REALLY cool. you said the program will actually
do that FOR you? i assume you just put in the
settings...or....there're trigger events or...something...i
dunno. that's really cool. i like it a lot. simple, yet
effective. =]

by experimental i mean that it is something different for me
(well i guess i am always TRYING to do thing but it is
usually not achieved) and probably different that most of my
other tracks, but tempo changing has been done before of
course.

well if you know jeskola buzz it is made up of "machines",
and the master machine contains the tempo, and i made a loop
of events for the master machine to do this and repeat
through the whole song.

Hmm I like the tempo changing, this interesting stuff. Is
buzz easy to use?

Good stuff!!

buzz is very easy to use (i think) and it is good for
creating interesting synth sounds with the wide variety of
machines available, but unfortunately the percussion
abilities are quite limited unless you set the bpm to MUCH
higher than it should be because you can only place events
on certain ticks

good work handover, i like this track. when i read that youd
automated the tempo, i thought it would sound too
out-of-whack, but it still sorta flows nicely.
