Hi people,
What do you think about CUBASE?
Is it possible to create good music with this program or not?
I'm curious to know what you think.
I'm meditating to get it... "ohmm" "ohmm"

Any thing can make good tracks if you can, depends what you want Cubase to do, Im planning on getting it for my new computer (which I still dont have) but then Im only using it for recording live sounds (like a band) and maybe sequencing some MIDI shit, I like trackers when it comes to Electronic music on computers

CuBase is kinda nifty. It has really good VST junk, which is nice. I am looking at Logic. It is pricey, but I understand it pays. But to be really honest, if you have something like Cool Edit and loads of time, you can pull off a lot, just with a wave editor. : )

i use Cubase VST and its OK, can be wierd at times, i would actually like to try something else, but it allows me to create the future of music as we know it.

Damn guys, ever heard of cracking AND/OR Twilight? I've never paid a dime for whatever i got on my pc, i.e. Cubase5.0, Recycle, Cool Edit Pro/2000 AND last but bloody not least: REASON1.0! Trust me, this program is gonna make it in the next few months it costs about 350Euro and I got it for jack shit! Anyway, AFX himself talks about some software he made himself... is he gonna give it to us for free or what? (Rereading my own msg, it sounds a bit arrogant to me, but you'll have to forgive me: i'm a neurotic pothead)

i used to use cubase, but it was pre SX. probably the version the OP would have used. it was a pain in the ass to do anything in, but that was probably mostly because it was old. My friend used the SX versions and they seemed a bit more current/advanced.
if i made a different kind of music or played with a traditional band i might favor cubase over ableton live. in 2001 cubase and logic would have been the main options tho i suppose.
