okay...i've had their album progression through unlearning for a number of
years now. i don't listen to much hardcore anymore, but this
album...wow. i recently recorded it to cassette and i've
been listening to it again in my car for the last few days.
still knocks my socks off. i think i can safely dub this the
greatest hardcore album EVER. some of you may
disagree...but...eh. hell...i don't even know if any of yous
guys are into this sort of stuff. eh. anyways...just had to
tell someone how much i still love this album. right. okay.
going now.

I know 'of' them, didn't ever check them out.

That album is unfortunately unrated on AMG, the only one
that is. I'll d/l the first track but I never took to Earth
Crisis (similar?) much...

earth crisis sucks ass. i remember buying 'gamorah's season
ends' (spell check there?) and was ready to throw it out the
window.

Earth Crisis are boring.
Snapcase is really a lot more energetic, more melodic, more
aggresive by moments.
Had the chance to see them live once and they blew me away.
Progression is their best album imo.

the five times before when they came to utah. it was
definitely worth the wait. =]

yessss!!! someone who agrees with me!

you heard their new album? end transmission? it's
alright. nothing fancy. it has it's moments, though. they're
kindof steering more towards...hmm. on the cover it had a
sticker that said something like "a cross between fugazi
and..blah blah blah" (i can't remember)...which i really
disagree with. because...well...it's not. but i s'pose i
could say it's beginning to lean more that way. *shrugs*

I had two albums (progression... and the one after it) and a
single from end transmission. it was all too samey but it
had its moments, they did\do nothing for me. refused and
cave in's older material (pre antenna and tides of tomorrow)
is better hardcore (although not exactly the same style of
hardcore)

refused is amazing, yes. the shape of punk to come.
mmmmmmmmmm. a staple hardcore album. tasty goodies.
