haha great!!! i was shocked when i read my name on the board
all of a sudden (i thought "uh oh, what did i do wrong this
time?"), but thanks for letting me know!

i'm at work now though, i can only d/l it when i'm back at
home this evening, but i'll surely do so!

and of course i'll let you know what i think :)

okay, cool :)

i'm thinking.....maybe after all the negative posts i've had
about my vocals, the end product might be instrumental - it
would work as an instrumental, but I really would
like to keep the vocals, because it had's another thing to
the track

of course you should stick with the vocals! that's what
makes it differ from all those electro tracks out there and
at the same time it makes it more 'your track'
i don't know how to explain really

anyway stick with the vocals, there are only few people who
have the guts and ability to do this,
who cares if they're not perfectly smooth? they're good
enough and make the track complete imo

yeah you're right!

Did Ian Curtis (of Joy Division) have perfect vocals? Was he
in tune all the time?

No.

But that added it's own quirkyness to the songs.

You're totally right Morton....the vocals are staying.

Thank you for your support on this matter :)

I really appreciate it

it's about 3 mins long now

I'm up to the Second chorus.

Working on the breakdown section, then bringing in the third
chorus, and then the ending.

i've just made a major change to the second chorus section,
so i'm gonna have to process/master/export/encode again!

lol

d/l-ed

i really like this, i can play it over and over again
it's 'cause it's pretty catchy (and cheesy maybe) i guess,
but that doesn't matter at all imo

i can't give useful criticism really, firstly 'cause there
aren't really parts that i don't like, and secondly 'cause i
don't have that much musical/music-making knowledge

it's already over 5 minutes long now that i d/l-ed it btw,
make sure you finish this ASAP! :) it suddenly stops, the
rest sounds okay to me,
i like that baseline that is left out at some parts and then
suddenly 'fills the track up' again

nice work oscilik :D keep me updated please :)

Morton, good news pal

I've finished it!

It's 5:57

It's complete

if you want, I can make an instrumental version available
for download too.

Let me know what you think of the final article.

I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I have enjoyed
making this.

May New Order carry on until the death of infinity

Btw, it's the same d/l site as the top entry in this thread,
just to make sure

;)

hey cool, it's done!!
yeah i sure enjoy listening to it! :)

an instrumental version isn't really necessary imo, for me
at least, it would feel as if something is missing after i
heard this track with vocals
they really belong with this track

i'm sure others will like it too, of course some will say
the vocals could be more perfect and it's a cover, that's
true maybe, but i just listened to the track and
i liked it
i wanna say to others; give it a shot a d/l it, see if you
like it or not

again; nice work oscillik! do try some more of this stuff!
:)
