is the orb guy, Dr. Alex Paterson, really a doctor? Or is it
just a nickname, like Dr. Dre?

i thought he had a doctorate in musicology? i haven't read a
whole lot about him, i could be wrong

This is horrible Underworld news. Who cares what they like?
You got me all excited for a new album (song). I'm a huge
underworld fan ( going to see them june 7th) but I have zero
interest in buying a record of music that they like.

nod, it's more an interesting read then anything else... not
necessarily an interesting listen...

mix! :)

heh, well if there is anything there that interests me I
might... although, if anything interests me, I'd probably
just listen to the original album with the songs on it... :)

it would be interesting to see some of the influences on
them...

the point of "back to mine" is to expose you to other stuff
though.. i mean why just listen to the artists on there
you're already into? anyway, i thought gil scott-heron was a
surprising influence, i certainly haven't heard it in any of
the underworld songs i know.

i bet eventually there'll be aphex and Ae back to minez.

dead prez! hah! same track james lavelle features in his
barcelona mix tho.

some of my favorite artists in this mix. hope it opens some
people up to some new music but underworld fans seem pretty
smart and diverse as it is. more so than idm geeks.
