I dig Desert Search For Techno Allah off Disco
Volante, but I prefer California as far as albums go.

By the way, the album cover for Disco Volante is one
of coolest covers ever made.

I bought the debut a few weeks ago but I wish I got
California. It sounds a bit dated now and some of it sounds
like the Chilis early stuff.

Anyone got the Tomahawk albums?

I like "squeeze me macaroni"

The debut is crap IMO, he's still got the high pitched voice
and most of the songs are shit.

I've got both Tomahawk albums, I listened to the first one a
lot and it's pretty dull, the second one has been getting
very good reviews and I need to listen to it more.

Seems like I picked the wrong one. Its not bad, its just not
great. Well, I bought a second hand copy so its not too
great a loss. Should have gone for Disco Volante though. Is
that good?

Wondered what the Fantomas stuff was like. I have The
Director's Cut which is brilliant; especially the Henry
Mancini tune.

You should try Fantamos. Its another Mike Patton thing and
it's even more out there than mr bungle

Fantomas are good, I'd probably just take Director's Cut
over the first record - the live split with the Melvins is
nice but the sound quality could be stronger. Volante is
definitely my favourite Bungle record but a lot of people
dig California most. I still think Patton's best
performances are Angel Dust and King For A Day. Dillinger's
EP was a brilliant combination I think. His solo albums are
pretty gash. I like some of his other solo work too. Phew.
