I'd heard good things about the Clarence Park album, got it on vinyl and loved it to death. Now I had recorded the whole record to MP3 for mobile listening, and I noticed a problem with the named track in MP3 format. Like, it sounded totally different in places, much worse. The bass just doesn't sound anywhere as nice, and some of the drum fill have become digital distortion-like... And no, its not my MP3 recording either, the rest of the album seems fine, and I just DL'd another copy of the same track (for experimental purposes only) from slsk. This track has the same problem. Are my ears finally becoming accustomed to the poor quality of MP3 (albeit 192kbps), or am I going mad? Please help me! |

try d/l-ing a mp3 of that track off the net see if it makes any difference if it doesn't you're going mad good luck ;) |
