Now before you lynch me I was thinking about this in work before and I was going to post before I saw the other thread below...however...
This is NOT a who is better thread, instead what I want to know is...just think for a minute that you got a phone call from Warp...and they said you can have an advanced copy of either Aphex's new album to be released 2004 or Ae's new album to be released 2004 but you have to choose which one to take on the spot and you won't be able to change your mind.
See, for me, Ae have been producing the better stuff and yet I think I would actually choose a new aphex album over one from them...how about the rest of y'all...

AFX:
Whilst I rate some of Ae's tracks very highly, I'm not a big fan of a lot of it. RDJ on the other hand has very few tracks I dislike and the vast majority I consider at least "good".

how is this a fair choice?
I mean, I would chose ae anyday, but they have been producing stuff much more consistantly.
most people on here love AFX and want to hear new stuff, so go figure who will come on top in this poll..

It's not really meant to be a poll. As I said in my post I think Ae have been producing the more consistent stuff myself but there is something about special about an Aphex release and I would go for that instead. I was just wondering whether anyone felt the same way.

I would ask for the new AFX release. I'm still trying to fully digest DrukQs and the idea of a new original full length just baffles my mind. I've barely even started 26 Mixes.

I like the way you compare music to eating, it is very good.

no you would only be able to listen to it, in a special portable booth like the gunge tank from noels house party. So you wouldn't be able to ebay it :()
