hello all. I know, long time... blah blah.

My second album was released yesterday. It is called the
"BARON VON UGLY" Lp. 21 tracks for 8 bucks. A blissful
phonocopia.

yeah he was. what happened to him, anyways?

the way i got the baron von ugly name though, is that I was
recently in a play by anton chekhov called "the three
sisters." it was a college production, so it wasn't grand,
but it was a thrust production -- the audience was seated
onstage around 3/4 of us.. so they were in our faces.

Anyways, my character was Baron Nikolai Lvovich Tuzenbakh.
He's this guy who wants this girl to love him, and while
he's a really nice guy, he's ugly as hell. So mockingly, I'd
call myself Baron Von Ugly. The cover of the album is
actually a photo of me during the performance.

might as well plug my second album. can't hurt to try. :-)

Okay, it's the same place, but at least check out both of
them. There's four free mp3's, you can hear samples of
everything, and each cd is 21 tracks for 8 bucks each.

well i have to at least try. how else would anyone who would
be into my music discover my music other than random surfing
or picikng up a comp that I'm on? (which is a slim chance)

by the way, nice AV aphextriplet.

And anyways, technically I'm a working musician now... i
could use the money. :-)

you to the exact same place. :-)

while I'm at it, let me describe some of the tracks on Baron
Von Ugly

1.Rollo Wants His Money Motherfucker or Else Bitch - Hiphop
noise without a beat and the sound of a thug screaming.
Intro type track.
2. Twinkle Monster - A dark music box accompanies a heavy
jungle beat.
3. Badonkadonk - Spaced-out hiphop with guitar noises and
orchestra hits.
4. Flourescent Ultraviolet Neon Kneebone - Saxophones and
woodbass accomapny a funky swinging breakbeat. Somewhere
between jazz and funk.
5. Schizophrenic Shamisen - The name says it all.
6. Caracpacapade - A very IDM track with a subtle frantic
noise beat over a quiet breakbeat, and fractal ambient
melodic sound patterns.
7. Gorgeous Rondo - A bouncy live drum loop accompanies soft
synths, woodbass and string synthesizer, with fifth/seventh
melodic harmonization halfway through at the changeup.
8. Beat the GD - Typical drum n bass with a catchy analog
bassline and reverberating high-end snare loop with jungle
movementation.
9. Self Plus Self - Eno-style minimalistic ambience.
10. Saba Origachi - Crunchy cracking hiphop with
pseudo-japanese vocals.
11. A King on His Death Bed - A classical-composition type
track with pianos, strings and false harpsichords. There's
even crescendos.

*correction. track 10:
10. Haul Brass - Trumpets versus voxbass doo-doos underneath
an old-school garage beat.

12. Rectangularific - Analog computer synth melodies over a
fast breakbeat and deep booming basskicks. Fairly dancable.
13. Saba Origachi - see above10
14. Analog Swordsmith - 8-bit noises over a lightning latin
percussion and nintendo swordsmithery sounds and cold windy
block melodies.
15. Auro - A dark orchestral track that could be on a horror
film soundtrack.
16. Suck On This Kenny G - One of my numerous attempts to
create slow-jazz on my computer, with barmitzvah-worthy
melodies.
17. Like It Fresh - A very dancy track with a blossoming
melody and a dry breakbeat, all in merry fashion.
18. Dirty Disc Shit - Clean your disc bitch!
19. Menacing Helix - Pitchblack noise track. Imagine falling
down numerous tubes to oblivion.
20. Music For My Funeral - Primitive computer organs over a
frantic beat, yet quite merry in a remorseful way.
21. Tan Girl In White Dress - Slow closer with string synth
and augmented melodic shifts. Somewhat haunting.

I won't install RealShit Anything on my computers, so I was
limited to your MP3 downloads for the album, neither of
which I really liked. They sounded corny and very
predictable. The Jungle break in track 2 gets very boring
very quickly.

Sorry to be so negative, I am sure other people will like it
a lot better than I did :D

I hope so. But thank you for the criticism. I can't receive
praise all the time - thank you for being honest. :-)

I hate RealPlayer too -- I wished Crazyfungus used something
else, but I really have no say in the matter.
