His package looks pretty substantial there though...

My desktop is cluttered with topless Freddie pics right now,
I better remember to delete these this time.

He definately had a well-built undercarriage -- That's one
parcel the UPS would be proud to handle.
Eww.. Talking about a dead person's genitals is sort of
morbid.

I think it was really time queen had such a nice thread in
this mb... where any fan could give his opinion, or even
search for info.

I like very much the stetic of queen in those early 70s...
so epic like, very medieval - glam

radio ga ga might be the first post-rock song ever.

Freddie just turned 60, right?

do you see him more like a gay mustache man or a singer or a
rock artist or a great singer and song writer ?

I hate it. it's like someone put a circus on drugs, killed
them and replaced the circus for some drunk people from the
pub

My (recently) ex-girlfriend was well into them - I went to
see them on their recent tour with Paul Rogers (of Free
fame). Went to Cardiff and it was actually quite good.
Proper stadium rock concert with big lights and guitar solos
etc. I think I was the only person in the whole venue not
doing the Queen-clapping-above-your-head-thing when Radio
GaGa came on though......we were right at the front too -
Brian May was looking at me not doing it and he looked
pissed off.....

In fact, whenever I hear "Killer Queen" I can taste a burnt
Bird's Eye burger in the back of my mouth, smell BBQ lighter
fluid, and see a pink and white slabbed patio under a pair
of Dunlop greenflash. I'm not even kidding.

Never been big into Queen, I always thought they were a
fraud as a rock band... but when my mum bought the triple CD
best of I had a listen and there were some good tunes... I
always loved Another One Bites the Dust for the bassline...
and Crazy Little Thing Called Love is cool, too! But that's
all that springs to mind.

i remembered the details of the dream just now as i walked
to the mailbox.

i was in a glamrock band, the four of us were parachuting
out of a plane. i went through the whole pre-jump anxiety,
the freefall, and the landing, all in big hair and
ridiculous outfits.

for some reason we were taking an extension lead down with
us. when we landed we ran across a field with the parachutes
trailing behind us like capes.

in another scene, i came across my old meditation teacher in
the hollow of a great tree. he had transformed himself into
a sculpture of string and rope, still maintaining his form,
except with threads reaching out across the room. one large
coil stretched out through the corridor-like inside of a
branch, which seemed to travel a long distance towards the
door of a workmates house.

my teacher, though largely immobile, mumbled in a serene
voice, which had taken on a timeless empathy to relect the
great tree he had become a part of. he was in the process of
writing a children's book, and the words he was speaking
seemed to outline a draft to the unwritten pages.
