you know, not to be an asshole, but there's still no proof that he died. i stand by what i said earlier except now i admit i was way too quick to assume mickey mouse (kirkle) was involved. i hope i'm right and that killswitch just decided to kill off his online persona instead of himself. i truly hope he's having a good life somewhere offline. |

I thought about it... but I really didn't know what to believe, and I didn't want to bump this up and say ''hey, it's all a hoax!'' and then suddenly have some sort of substantial proof. Lotta headfuckin' going on back then and I was actually duped into banning some innocent guy once. I STILL don't know what's true, I'm just passing on what I was told. if skyfarmer admitted it i'm sure he was behind it. no one else was sick and twisted enough to do something like this. back then sky was doing whatever he could to manipulate and cause chaos on the board so this fits perfectly just like i suggested all those months ago. i'm glad nothing this bad has happened since but if and when it does i don't want to say anything because it always backfires. |

But the thing is, and I can't remember the exact conversation or why, this was half a year ago, there was something strange about the admission, it wasn't overly convincing. It struck me as this guy trying to fuck us over... and suddenly he could take credit for the BIGGEST hoax of all... and he might not have even had anything to do with it. I had to interrogate him into this before he admitted anything. I hope it was a hoax. If anyone knows ANYTHING, say something. |

no one will say anything, sky's partners in crime here are pretty loyal. you're right, there may be something funny about him admitting to it, but if you scroll back a couple pages i laid out a pretty convincing and simple argument on how this was textbook skyfarmer (the avatar, name, scenario, etc.). i think he started to feel guilty about it later and perhaps he was reluctant to admit it to you or did so awkwardly. either way, i'm out, no more sleuthing or speeches from me on other users, i've wasted too much time caring. |

i didn't think it was a joke at all.. there was nothing ambiguous or fishy about it, it was just really sad. and like you said it was quickly proven. no one ever came up w/ a news story from kill switch's supposed native country or town.. we were all supposed to believe "teh doktor" and email some poor girl mailbombs or spam or something (remember how the big push was for us all to email the woman KS supposedly killed himself over? major giveaway there that it was a prank..) |

I would have said something sooner, but the way I found out at the time... just didn't convince me at all, his story and demeanor didn't check out at the time, even with all the good arguments for it being a hoax in this topic. i had to use some online translator which only lets you input a few hundred words at a time. The resulting text was not very well put together so i had to do my best to try and make sense of the 'actual meaning' behind the 'literal translation'. Do you speak Dutch JAroen? |

This is so strange and unsettling... I would like to have some "real closure" on this matter. Selfish of me, I know... I've searched for all kinds of stuff on google to locate something that disproves or proves the statement by the Dr but found nothing. Man, I scream inside when someone takes his/her life - it's such a big thing. |

well, it won't help much, but you could see it the other way - there hasn't been much proof that he did kill himself. because this is the internet, you need some kind of hard proof of events - as in the sad Cabbog story. I still don't know what to believe in this case, but I do veer strongly to the hoax idea. |

i don't know whether this is true or not... but if it's true it's really fucked. and if it's a hoax... it's really fucked too. i'm just disgusted by all this... i don't know what she did but anyway i'm glad the admins removed her e-mail (one of my mother's brothers committed suicide because of his wife, she "killed him" as well, yet i certainly wouldn't want random people to flame-mail her, i totally agree with what recycle said: "two wrongs don't make a right"...) - though i can totally understand anger against someone and desire of revenge... - - - i didn't know Kill Switch, i don't know whether all of this is true or not, all i know is that it's a really fucked situation and i don't want to "choose a side". sorry but the way things are presented/turned on this thread, i can't feel sad, just disgusted.
