I must say that this is the fucking greatest Metallica
cover i have heard in a long time, and in this case I don't
give a fuck about Limp Bizkit being some pretentious
bastards.

the turntable scratches were a nice touch. fred sings like a
pussy though. his rapping is of course even worse. but LB
are technically a very competent band.

or were.
now that wes borland, the only talent in the band left, they
are pretty much the Fred Durst Band

hey, they still have no guitarist at the moment. One of the
KoRnsters helped them out for the new album...

wes was the greatest talent but not the only talent.

little known facts about wes:
1) he recorded an album's worth of electronic music in the
vein of FSOL
2) he did a remix of "break stuff" in the style of
squarepusher for the new old songs remix cd... of
course fred rejected this
3) one of the reasons he's not in LB anymore is cos all his
guitar ideas he was coming up with were too radiohead for
fred

yeah, but I mean if you look at Korn's contribution...I
mean...what a bunch of wussies...couldn't even play "one"
without having to cut it down. LB played a very noble
appreciation (and look at the fact that their former
Bass-player, although not in LB anymore, agreed to play)

I haven't bothered to look at Avril Lavine's contribution.
My instinct says "danger! danger!" about combining Avril the
Faker with Metallica.

I would like to hear Snoop's though, and I could not imagine
Sum41 would be that bad ether (they have a lot of
metal-influence themselves)

what ...? I thought it was the bass-player that left...ah
well...

Snoop was fucking terrible, it only went on for a
minute or so. Sum 41 did Bells/Sandman, and... yeah,
suckeee.

Avril was alright I thought. Fucking hate her but.

avril and snoop's performances were a lot of fun... i hope
fun isn't a foreign concept to you bad boys!

"he did a remix of "break stuff" in the style of

That makes me sad! Very sad!

"Yeah, we were about to sign a record deal, and everybody
got all just completely at each other's throats. Fred and I,
both, just not getting along at all, and I was bull headed
about a lot of stuff."
Wes says.
"I have Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, and I
take speed." (he chuckles) "Legal speed. Dexidrine 10 ml
spancils for it. And I quit takin em for, like, a week, and
I'd never gone with out takin em before. And I didn't know I
was gonna become a baaaad, bad man."
