what humor do you like best?

for me it would have to be the brittish people here...i love
their humour
ofcourse there are many other humorous individuals on this
mb but britts are the funniest ones
canadians are close in 2nd (with ophecks and funkmaster)
not to forget meho (i love serbian humour, but its not that
represented on this mb unfortunatelly...come bach meho!)

what are your favs?

i like the monty python style humor

there's american humor as well. i have a sense of humor, and
i'm american, so i guess that makes my humor american too.

i agree on canadian humor. tom green and the red green show
in particular are quite funny.

well, in general, i don't really care what nationality humor
bears. just as long as it isn't cruel, raw, or dry, i'm
happy w/ it. after all, laughter is the best medicine!

Canadian, because I don't get a lot of British references.
Lots of obscure BBC related shit that I don't pick up on.
There's a lot of closet homoerotic jokes from here in
Eastern Canada, just read mine and The Funkmaster's posts.
We're straight as a ruler other than our love for hot boys.

i would say bill hicks caustic wit is highly entertaining,
and ecnadniarb who's mind seems to work on the same level as
mine. you make me laugh a lot too. :)

I love British humor, but I'm too far removed from my
English greatgrandpappy to get a lot of the inside jokes.
But I giggle anyway because of words like ''tosser'' and
''wanker''.

I've never really noticed the sense of humour of various
nationalities before. A kneejerk response would be to say
that us Brits do dry humour very well, which is then lost on
Americans.

American humour seems to be very introverted. Evidence of
this would be the likes of Dave/Conan/Jay who reference a
lot of celebs and politicians in their jokes that nobody
outside the US has ever heard of.

Scandinavians seems to have a very advanced sense of humour
that manages to be both black and abstract at the same time.
Good stuff.

this board consistently makes me laugh parly because of the
melting pot of different styles of humor, largely
identifiable to their countries of origin, and partly
because of... other reasons! i'd probably say the least
funniest people here are us americans but we have some good
jokes too sometimes. a lot of it isn't understood by most of
the board, though.

I agree, Americans are the most unfunny people in the world.
I mean during the war the Iraqis hitting the posters of
Saddam with their shoes had me rolling on the floor
laughing, but the Americans just drove tanks over them,
which was boring.

there are some americans on this mb that make me laugh a
lot

what i noticed many times here is ; when two brits start to
argue and calling each other names they do this in a very
nice and funny manner, but when there's two americans
arguing it usually sounds pretty offensive- it could all be
because of the individuals, but thats the general impression
i've got

out of reading british sayings on this board, which I do not
udnerstand... I remember getting the biggest kick out of
Taking the Piss, and Ripping the Shit... ripping the shit
especially...

I laugh at about 90% of the things wMw type here , his
abstract yet clever humour is my cup of tea.
Where the hell is Poshnu Tuvalo anyways?? Sounds like
finnland but its probably something he has made up (a google
search=no results)

Yeah your right!

"In 1974, ethnic differences within the British colony of
the Gilbert and Ellice Islands caused the Polynesians of the
Ellice Islands to vote for separation from the Micronesians
of the Gilbert Islands. The following year, the Ellice
Islands became the separate British colony of Tuvalu.
Independence was granted in 1978. In 2000, Tuvalu negotiated
a contract leasing its Internet domain name ".tv" for $50
million in royalties over the next dozen years. "

There is no "Poshnu" tho but a "Poshano" in Vietnam

I really dig the canadian comedian-group "Kids in the
Hall"...
They rock! Let me see if I can name them, hmm... Kevin,
Mark, Scott, Dave, Bruce...
yeah that's all of them!
It's a lovely (quite weird) tv-show and I taped all epsidoes
when it was shown... I have like 10 tapes of it.
