Thinking about buying one of their albums... because, well,
a lot of people seem to like them and they're hugely
influencial and all that... and, well, because I might
actually be able to get some of their albums here in town!!
So, please suggest the best one to get, and I will sample
it!!

fuck it, every artist has had many topics here, if someone
would ask about autechre people would still reply too

so i suggest you get 'Computerworld' and then 'Trans Europe
Express'

"Die Mensch Maschine" - the german edition of "The
Man-Machine", it's so much cooler when they sing in german!

The Man Machine... I think it sounds funny when they sing in
German....trying so hard to fit all those syllables into the
melody of the song....but thats just me. If not that, then
Trans Europe Express.

The man machine is cool, but indeed Die mensch maschine is
way cooler. It's like that with all the albums they released
in german and in english, german is better. Listen to Die
roboter and the robots and you'll know which one is better
even though the music is the same.

No disrespect meant...but when I heard the German version of
The Robot for the first time...I thought the chorus went *we
are sucky robots* :)

Maybe I like it better because I have been taught german in
school and therefor understand it better?

And it doesn't matter that much what you like best...

aren't great? you should get album> because i said so and for no other reason. besides
that point every other album will eventually be listed
anyway.

1000 monkeys, 1000 typewriters.

try using some initiative for a change or is that beyond
your comprehension?

me too...I'd also like to hear Orbital put something else
out..I thought the all together was ok, but to me it's
nothing compared to the self titled /neon green one with
belfast, farenheit3d3-
