I've been on this board for a LONG time, and i've written lots and lots of messages here....BUT...*pause*....i've never ever created a new topic here. I decided long ago that i was gonna do that when i got my copy of a new aphex album. So guess what i got in my mail today?....no not antrax, but drukqs! And i'm so happy! I don't really know what this topic is about. Maybe it should be about drukqs, maybe not. Whaddya think? .PEACE |

Now I'm not anticipating drukqs at all because I got appetite for disctruction in the mail and will be occupied with that for awhile. Who knows though, It could very well suck as I havn't listened to it yet. |

That's good. disctruction sounds complicated but it doesn't sound really interesting for some reason. I'm glad I bought it though, it'll grow on me. I'm getting drukqs when it comes out too of course. |

disctruction isn't a good album i think. some trax are good but...it's just boring.. drukqs is way better IMO. .PEACE |

Actually it REALLY grew on me. It sounded amazing on my last listen to it... maybe it'll grow off me now... still havn't heard drukqs though. What's the best funkstorung album in anyone's opinion? |

drukqs is WAY more complicated than Funkstorung. Disctruction is the best i have heard by funkstorung. I have only heard the Disctruction album, but i have downloaded 2 cd's worth of various funkstorung and it all sounds the same. I heard a song by them on CKUA but i didnt catch the name, it was an amazing song! it sounded like a train going by that was chopped and what not. it was fucking amazing. Funkstorung, i believe, is an amazing group. i paid nearly $50 for disctruction to be imported. you should go to www.funkstorung.com and listen to their samples of each album to find something you like. |

I went to funkstorung.de (a very interesting visual site too) and heard a lot of their samples. They are put into small loops but you can still pretty much tell whether it's good or not. Another problem was that they all sounded good, so it's hard to choose... I heard a sample of drukqs off cdnow and it sounded great to (2nd song cd 1) |
