in post-production -- American Wedding, with Jim getting
married to that freak. I really liked the first two films, I
hope this one is as funny.

God forbid!

I think the "freak" is quite funny, but I never did see
anything amusing about the first film. The second one had
it's moments (Jim's dad is good) but it was just lame as
fuck... at least the third one has some semblence of a plot.

Nope, it's the Black Lodge from Twin Peaks.

Ah, I knew it was Lynchian! Hey, that throws up a funny
concept - imagine LYNCH directing American Pie IV! Think how
fucked-up THAT film would be!

I'm still curious as to what would've happened if he'd
directed Return Of The Jedi (he turned it down to direct
'Dune', oof!) - imagine what he would've done with the ewoks
:)

As for him doing American Pie 4 - yeah I can see it now...

"Jim, did you get some last night?"

"Yeah... it was a talking horse and I was floating on some
celestial plane talking to a banana at the time but I can't
be fussy..."

".... then I tossed a coin and it turned up tails which
meant that meat was on the menu...."

why not? I'm no elitist - if I like something, I like it - I
ain't gonna program myself to dislike something just because
of snobbery.

JIM'S FATHER: Jimmy boy, I've left your mother for a
backward-headed horse woman called Gloria. We're happy as
hay together and now I'm going to eat this American Apple
Pie

i saw the first one on tv..for me its the kind of film you
turn over to and mis the beginning, and keep watching till
something better comes on.....but it was kinda funny at the
time....it was no '10 things i hate about you'...

I prefer Mallrats as an R Rated teen comedy.

Road trip is kinda cool too. But you can't beat Wierd
Science for a teen movie
