to me gescom is more techno-oriented than ae, more dancy. more emphasis on beats and melodies than sound textures (although indeed iss:sa has a lot of texture too). |

Gescom thankfully never went down plumbing the depths of abstraction like Ae did on Confield/Gantz Graf. To my ears atleast they sound more straightforward. And it is a collective, an electro collective rather than a hip-hop one... like early Sabres Of Paradise or something. |
