Nothing is better than cruising down the highway with Volumes 1-3 (perhaps some later ones) of the Soft Machine. Just try it. The albums flow and suck you in and you'll be at your destination before you know it. And Robery Wyatt is a MAD drummer, who needs computers when you can pound out beats like that with the parts God gave ya? And there are no guitars in case you're opposed to the Devil's Instrument. If it hasn't already happened, some drill and bassers should sample some of those beats and breaks. |

you know what album I really like for driving? A Hundred Days Off by Underworld... it has great beats, and is really dancey so it's good in that sense, but yet at the same time it's kind of laid back and smooth, and real nice for cruising in the evening... |

it's kinda too much since the world championships are here closeby, hockey is coming out of every possible media and helsinki is filled with hockey hooligans.. i did see a canada match, against switzerland (from the telly) but i can't say i'd really get it. anyway i hope the finns don't win, it would mean a riot. |
