(I am not sure if this is a valid place to post this but...if not I am sure phobiazero can close it)
To those that listen to a lot of music on their computers...what soundcards do you use ? I've noticed that my SB Live sounds really bright....especially the snare rushes sound really upfront all the time and I have to keep adjusting my equaliser settings. I am considering a change to a good card...what would you suggest ?

I got an M-audio Audiophile 24/96 and it's incredible. Dead silent, not a whisper of static or hum or noise, and gorgeous pure sound. It has midi in/out, analog and digital in/out, and solid drivers for XP/2000.
Really, anything by Creative is a fucking joke.
I think some of the Terratec cards use the same chipset as the Audiophile.
