http://www.expando.org/newmusic.html

not crazy fast drill and bass, though the first track is
pretty crunchy fast.

Nice tracks again. Pleasant is pleasant :D Just what it says
on the tin.
I really liked them all. Again! I still have the last lot
and they're great too.

xceque- does the production sound tighter? ie the bass
louder, all sounds still clear but loud without clipping,

when compared with the other set of tracks?

To be honest I couldn't say for sure. The sounds seem a
little crisper and better defined. That might be just the
difference between mp3 bitrate/codec, but probably it's more
than that. So I'll say... yes!
mp3s aren't really a good enough medium to be judging the
minutae of sound composition.
Just listened to 'deteriorate' again. I love the first half
of that :)

I think "sounds my cellphone makes" is just generally more
fun and better sounding than "release", but I definately
think "the production sounds tighter" in the track
"complacency". The sounds don't feel constrained like in,
say, tracker software. This is a really nice track.. the
change to old stuff to this track almost seems similar to
download's III album.. which seems like a rediculous idea
probably. But in III, even though there was very little
limitation in sounds created and the sounds are all well
done, it wasn't as fun to listen to for some reason. (you
already posted "the conversation" and "the truth" last time
you were here so I won't get those again. I might have them
on cd, but I don't remember which tracks match the names.)
Fulcrum is similar in being well produced, but less
symmetrical and simple and fun. It's more of a serious track
seemingly and less cartoony like "the pig and the moose" was
(heh heh, great track). Fulcrum and complacency are great
tracks IMO, all the sounds are great, the melody is great,
many great changes. I guess it's not as silly though. Or
something, my opinon doesn't matter.

cool, w M w, your feedback is always very welcome, because
it actually rings true to me.

I've been moving away from "fun and silly" and moving a
little towards tighter grooves and darker presences, just
because my life for the last year has dictated it. All of
the drill and bass I made-- those 11 tracks, are the product
of a lot of free time, some psychedelics, alcohol, and less
stress.

Newer music has been heavily influenced by a long period of
making nothing but repetitive dance tracks. A lot of it
came out quite good in my opinion, and it gave me a lot of
focus on production and transition.

Always learning, always learning.

There's now an "add email" field on expando.org for gettin'
on the list for upcoming mp3 releases

For now, I'm cleaning up all my dance stuff and eliminating
the junk in it, and am going to release probably an hour of
it in 3-10 tracks.

Thanks again, w M w

you could do sarcastically fun/happy/silly tracks.
I've done a couple of those in the past, heh heh. Well
thanks for bothering to upload them.

hmm. went back and listened to your older stuff, like
deteriorate and sounds my cell phone makes. i
enjoyed these much more than your newer stuff (not that THAT
wasn't excellent, too. heh). but to answer your question i
s'pose all the new stuff does sound like it was better
produced. a little. but not enough that i would really even
think about it.
