Small labels?

Hi,

As many of us are aspiring artists, I thought it would be
helpful if someone could supply a list of very small labels
that could recieve demos. I've sent some stuff to Warp and
Rephlex and Planet-Mu, but got no replies...(mind you, the
first track WAS the worst, silly me)

Do any of you know the names of some small electronic
labels? Thanks in advance...

it!

Have a look in the misic non stop-topic(it's pinned )
I dunno if that is what you are looking for, but it might
work inspiring...

forced exposure allows you to browse labels (reflecting
their stock, of course) and they have a huge selection of
relatively obscure music. there are also descriptions of
the recordings so you can get an idea of what styles the
label releases.

Oh, sorry you havn't heard yet, but there's no longer money
to be made making music. There's no longer fame either
really.

Skam, Rephlex, Warp, Planet-Mu. The amount of releases they
release a year are just too few. I mean even if the music
they receive is shit hot what can they really do about it?
There is only so much music they can release (each year) and
only so much that is bought too. I think sending a demo to
these labels is a complete waste of time. The reason people
pursue these labels is for the Kudos and marketability,
which is fair enough but the reality is they have a set
amount of releases and a set amount of artists. So unless
you are so hot that your shit smells like perfume, forget
about it. In a way had Mike P not shown such interest in
artists like Venetian Snares etc then I don't even think it
would have been on Warp's or Rephlex's radar. What do you
lot reckon?

So-what to do?

THanks for your help anyway. For your information, I make
really melodic drum and bassy kinda stuff. Off beat and
bizzare and catchy.
