...mail you get delivered to your place of work being
opened by other people? The past few times I've had DVDs/CDs
shipped to work they have been opened, even if they don't
need to be signed for :/

Is it legal as work have a right to check it's work related
and you're not ordering drugs to your work address or
something? Seems dodgy to me...

I'm not sure but I know that Council addressed mail will
always be opened - unless it's stipulated 'private' on the
envelope. Next time you order something, see if you can
request a 'Confidential' seal on the front... or even
better, get them to stamp it 'Federal Bureau Of
Investigations' :)

BASTARDS!

Well, their not allowed to read your e-mail - at least not
in my country - so why should they be allowed to open your
snailmail? Take it to the union, if you are organized!

Check if they have som specific "policy" about it, if so you
should have been informed of it beforehand...

If I know something is getting delivered I throw a sicky and
get it delivered to my home. I'm currently sitting having a
cup of tea waiting on Draft 7.30 and Splinter Cell as we
speak.

I know, I don't order anything dodgy to work (well, full
stop...) so I don't really want to complain about it/raise
the issue as if they are allowed it may jsut make them think
I have something to hide and they'll check it as a matter of
course.

Basically I just order packages too big to go through my
letterbox to work to save me having to go to the post office
to pick them up.
