crapping myself!!

Its' 8.55am and the appointment is 9.15am

Anyone else hate the places as much as me? I'll read your
posts later..........if I survive!!!

Good luck!

The dentist has never bothered me, despite taking out a
couple of teeth and fitting braces when I was younger.

people find it strange but i hate going to the barber more
than going to the dentist

dentist doesn't bother me at all, whereas i'm really nervous
when i have to go to the barber, seriously

i don't know what it is, i just feel really uncomfortable
there

You really have a problem with the dentist eh Chris? I
remember you posting about your appointment last year. You
were fine if I remember so chill out.

I get paranoid when they have the cut throat razor to my
neck. I just think, "What if this guys a psycho and is about
to slit my throat?"

Irrational I know, it's just as dangerous walking in front
of a car at a crossing, but it's the fact that a relative
stranger has a knife to your throat that is unnerving.

Your barber uses a cut-throat razor?

once you go to the barber enuff times you get to know and
trust them, whereas the dentist will hurt you no matter
what....

Yes, for sideboards, neck line and throat (if you have a
proper shave done as well). I was considering learning to
use one myself, but they're such a pain to keep sharp,
customs give you hell on holiday about them and for the
first 6 weeks or so of using them you tend to cut yourself a
lot.

Why not use something more ordinary than a cut-throat razor,
like a Gillette/Wilkinson/whatever? I use a Mach3 and it
works perfectly IMO. For trimming goatee/sideburns I'd
suggest using electric clippers.

;) j/k

Multiple blade razors are good for a close shave where
precision isn't needed like on your cheeks, but on areas
next to the hairline a cut throat razor is the most precise.
This is largely due to being able to see exactly where the
cutting starts. I never use eletric razors to shave- you
should see close up photgraphs of what it does to your hair,
they end up looking like frayed ropes and often split down
the middle leading to infection.

I have none :P
no problem with the dentist here. He straightened my teeth,
removed 4 wisdom teeth and makes them clean. Dentists =
friends.

Argg...Dentists...

I'm in the middle of some major dental work that's gonna
take a few weeks to complete...

Had 3 out this week (2 of em Windom ones....)...and got more
extractions coming in 5 days time..:(...

Only upside is that it's a good excuse to get a Valium
prescription...
