anyone (jand maybe?) have any background on the Chris
Morris collaborations compilation that Warp put together and
then didn't release? who was on it? the only song i know
that's been heard from this is "bad sex" with Amon Tobin
(which you can find on the "slowly" single, some import
copies of supermodified, and xen cuts).

Al li know about Blue Jam is that Chris Morris used to
present those monolouges on BBC radio 1 in the UK. Then Warp
signed him and got him to do the monolouges on Blue Jam

i mean just what i said. a cd of (new) COLLABORATIONS with
the likes of amon tobin and [who knows? aphex? mu-ziq? THIS
is why i asked. come on joyrex, jand, anyone...]. the only
song to come from this CANCELLED project was "bad sex." so
to sum it up, no i don't mean blue jam.

Cunningham, not Morris - Chris is working on a DVD
supposedly with Tom J and Richard due out this summer, no
word yet if it will be new material or finally Come On My
Selector and Chris' Aphex works finally on DVD - some think
it will be the full version of the Drukqs promo clip that
Chris has wanted to finish or Monkey Drummer (I doubt it
will be MD). I have not heard anything since it was
announced ages ago.

me, i know all about spectral musicians. please understand
me when i say there was a cd compilation that was going to
come out featuring musicians collaborating with the comedian
chris morris. the only song we've heard from this cancelled
project is "bad sex" with amon tobin.

so in other words, you don't know anything about this? :/
pity... maybe jand does? he's a brit, he might be more up on

Yep yep there was meant to be a Blue Jam Remix album coming
out (but it never did) with Warp artists remixing the Blue
Jam tracks. The Bad Sex with Amin Tobin was released on
Ninja Tune in 2000 but no other remixes appeared. Dunno why
though.

i'm so glad one person knew what i was talking about... i
only had to repeat myself a few times before someone got it
;)

still no info on who else was or would have been on this cd
though... since it was to be on warp i bet some of the warp
heavyweights recorded some music for it (eg: afx,
squarepusher, lfo, plaid..)
