So, the show was among the greatest I've witnessed. I tend
to find shows of any sort difficult to rate, but this was
one of those shows that find's itself beyond rating scale.
No holding back tonight. Just honesty and respect for the
crowd's tastes. Few acts get the constant bar chatter of
the Cabooze to quiet down, but the only sound coming from
anyone tonight was right there in music.

As it turns out, Sage Francis is a performance artist....
clownlike acrobatics as he poets his heart out and tells the
story of the world in his own personal reflection. Sage's
performance really challenged people... hitting all the
fears for us, so that we could facec them ourselves.... and
resolve what we had in commonm, and we all have quite a bit
in common... as a matter of fact, we're all related, and so
I empathize.

Sisters and brothers, nothing holding us back tonight.

i'm glad you had a good time, it sounds like something i
would've liked too. did you say what's up for me? i really
do think kweli does a lot of what sage francis does, only
better (and of course differently).

i have no doubt that kweli is gifted; i hear it in his
voice. i really haven't been exposed to anything other than
hitek... is that the name? i really haven't heard enough to
know exactly what he's all about. i know a few people
listening to sage. i caught him live at an atmos show.
most honest lyrcist i'd ever heard. a good live show none
of that struggle for confidence.

didn't happen to meet him tonight... this place was packed
with drunks. i had to get out as quick as possible so as
not to develop a cancerous lung and so that i could bicycle
my way out of the neighborhood before they all got behind
the wheel.
