I've been a fan of cog for a while, after hearing the
sample mp3's and the the 'just driving part 2' ep, I decided
that this could possibly be one of australia's most talented
bands, with a 'similar' sounding musical direction to tool,
and a voice that I reckon sound a bit like 'faith no more',
I've been waiting for these guys to FINALLY release their
debut album.. which as far as I know,. STILL hasn't been
released,

most of these releases are pretty hard to find, so I was
stoked to see it at my local record store, and bought it
within about 12 seconds of seeing it, I took it home, and
started playing it, the song was called open up, immediately
I started to recognise the riffs, then the guy started
singing, and then when the chorus hit, I said to myself
"fuck, this is a leftfield cover"

and you know what, It's severely radical.

if you see this in stores, and you're a fan of tool, or
leftield, GET THIS.

cog aye, it sounds like they're finally getting some
recognition, when I was working in North Sydney a mate was
doing their website for them. How is it all looking? (I'm a
56k_user) I'll be sure to check that leftfield cover u
mentioned :)

Death in Vegas did a leftfield cover (something off Rhythm
and Stealth) when I saw them on their last tour. Really
good, instantly recognisable, but not a straight copy.
