I knew the former frontsinger of this band called Mnemic,
and though the former music was also very great, the new
shit really blew my socks off.

It's a Danish band from my home-town, so you don't expect
high quality sound like this.

This is a very innovative style and have some root
influences in the music that can be linked to such bands as
Tool (though this is a much more hardcore version).

Please! is you like metal/grindcore check out this track
they have up:
Mnemic - Naked and the Dead

for more info:
mnemic.com

please discuss what you think about the song

Maybe you should consider being one as a profession...

heh sorry Junktion, but i feel like i have to promote a
similar thing now...

from my home town, Vaasa
Rotten Sound.

grindcore so brutal you can't belive it.. their latest lp
was produced my Mietzko from Nasum and they just finished a
mini-tour with them in Finland. They're quite respected
through the world actually, very good reviews in european
magazines etc...

the bass player is a friend of mine and we have played
together in bands for years. and the drummer is literally
one of the best ones in the whole world.

hehe, i don't think i would make a too good promoter..

heh this is really grindcore.. i don't listen a lot of this
kind of music but i really need it sometimes. and Nasum and
Rotten Sound does it so good and somehow in good taste i
think... try Targets and Seeds if you dare.

i'm not sure if i can d/l that Mnemic stuff but i will try.

I'll get some now.

On a slightly different subject, I just watched the video
for Sepultura's cover of 'Bullet The Blue Sky' (!) and it
was as bad as I feared.

have you ever heard Düreforög back in the days where they
did trashcore?

OK.

Well I d/led that track you recommended Junk. It's not bad,
but it's so similar to about three million bands around at
the moment I can't get too excited about it. Not bad,
just... familiar.

Fat Kaimo does slightly better with his choice, I mean,
nothing new again but they have a decent vibe. I dunno if
they'd replace Brutal Truth at the top of my grindcore list
(And they sound very similar) but not bad at all. Getting
some more stuff now.
