My CD playerr is brroken. 15 - 21 days beforre I hearr worrd frrom them. 15 - 21 days beforre I get to listen to music at night and 15 - 21 beforre i get to listen to music that doesn't cackle (a currse upon my computerr) I'm as low as I can get rright now, i'll just put it on the "shit list" *crrys like a little girrlie* |

i threw my cd player across three lanes of traffic once. it kept shutting off on me. the only thing that pisses me off now is that it still had my glassjaw cd in it. *shrugs* |

you can't count on portable CD players either - they made me convert my whole CD collection into mp3s (haven't finished doing it yet) because i don't have another player; a friend of mine had a portable CD player who could only play CD-Rs and couldn't play "regular" CDs; another person i talked to about this said there was a malediction on portable CD players, she doesn't even try anymore - she just stopped using them, only uses a hi-fi (but don't rejoice too soon, she said her hi-fi was going berserk too), and sings when she travels. my parents have an old marantz CD player (which is believed to be a very good brand), but you have to insert the CD, get it out, re-insert it, play a random track, stop, then only start really playing, otherwise it skips all the time during track 1! (i don't know if all this is necessary, but it's the only way i found to make it work properly). w00t. |

I rresorrted to stealing my fatherr's laptop just to play music. It took me months to get anotherr one. I can tottally sympathise with this.
