Damn CapN, I'd like to also hear the rest of the "Vault"
series. I've only heard Iceolator, and its pretty good.

They're all available from Subcon's homepage. Most of the
originals have sold out, but they're into second versions
now.

synth pop thing then youll prolly hate it... me, i love
peter gabriel and stuff like that, so im naturally inclined
to it... nice change of pace from puppy... cap'n, i would
love some of those... :D

I'm a HUUUUUUUUUUGGGEEEE Skinny Puppy fan, so I am anxiously
awaiting the new Skinny Puppy, Key solo stuff, and Ohgr CDs.
I got the vault series too! Best $140 ever spent. That being
said, I like Key's work better than Ogre. Ritalin was
interesting, but not really my thing, and Welt was good, but
nothing new. Every new thing I get by Key amazes me because
he completely redefines his style with every CD, and all of
his new styles are spectacular! I don't really like Pigface
or the Revolting Cocks at all, either..

yeah... the only thing pigface did worthwhile was the album
fook and the song asphole. revco is "eh", and ritalin was
ok... welt was half good.

I love Key's solo work. Phil Western's solo work is damn
good too. If you like Download/Plateau, be sure to check
out Phil's solo releases "The Escapist" and "Dark Features".
Oh, and Download's "Effector" is one of the best electronic
albums ever created.

I have an Off and Gone CD, (Western and someone else) and I
didn't like that as much. The Escapist and Dark Features are
good, but they aren't nearly as good as the stuff with Key.
One of the tracks on the Escapist is the same song as a
Plateau Track, which confuses me because I don't know if Key
worked on it or not....

I have the Off and Gone cd too. It's an older release. I
heard Phil did some of the Plateau stuff without Key.

wow, glad you enjoy it!

not everyone can get down with it, but i think its easily
one of the better industrial albums in the past 10 years.

very experimental as far as vocals and sounds go.
lots of bitcrunching.

majik is just ferocious.

that song is SOOOO gary numan!
i like "watergate" ALOT... very modern idm-ish beats and an
AWESOME vocal melody.

also very fond of "chemtale"
theres some GREAT vocal cut up stuff there too.

Hilo has a goth rock break near the end of the track. Very
80's!!! I love the trademark ohGr distorted fuzzy noises!!!!

yeh, i wasnt too keen on the 808 drums in hilo at first....
felt too obvious, but now i love it!!!!

and youre right, theres just a nice vibe to that song,
particularly the middle to end.
