It's an album that grows on you. But, considering that all these cunts listen to is Fatboy Slim and Chemical Brothers, of course they're gonna give it a bad review. It's not for everyone. It's for us.

i really love drukqs, the best release yet:) but considering the general atmosphere in the world of pop music today and the quality of music by big artists in general, (it hasn't been this bad since the 80's IMO) i wouldn't be surprised if drukqs was completely dissed by reviewers.
like everybody else they're brainwashed by all this sticky shit that comes out of the radio...

hey dont diss the 80's!! It produced some of the best "big artists" as you call them.
Depeche Mode, The Cure, Cocteau Twins, Nine Inch Nails, New Order, Siouxie and the Banshees... need i go on?
Granted some 80's music was awfull but at least it had a decent percentage of good artists that made it big.
IMHO the 90's was the worst and doesnt look like its getting any better. Boy and Girl bands have ruined the music industry... especially in the UK.

There's no way the 90s can get better as it is over...

One night upon my motorcycle through the desert spead
And smashed my body so that all my friends thought I was dead
My sister held me close and whispered to my bleeding head
"You are the son of a mother fucker"
One two three four
I shook all night and held her hand
Chocolate people well I'll be damned
Land of plenty, land of fun To find out I'm Nimrod's son
Oh bury me Far away please Bury me
Ha-haaa The joke has come upon me
In my motorcycle mirror I think about the life I've led
And how my soul's been aking all the holes where I have bled
My image spoke to me, yes to me and often said
"You are the son of incestuous union"
One two three
Now my head is clear My luke hands washed My daughter's pure My son is tall Land of plenty, land of fun To find out I'm Nimrod's son
Oh bury me Far away please Bury me
Ha-ha Ha-ha The joke has come upon me

the cure, depeche and new order are really good groups (my cure collection is huge and pornography is my fav album of all time:)) and i'm not dissing the style of the 80's. BUT those bands that u mentioned were only an island of hope in an ocean of diarrhea...there's so many 80's bands that you'd rather forget existed that really, really sucked, don't you think?
and of course 90's wasn't a decade consisting of 100% good music, but you could sense a general wish for something new, something different, an alternative to the usual mind eating crap that one is constanly exposed to.
does anyone else feel this way or am i completely of of my element?
btw:nice to see a normal discussion on the board, not just namecalling and stuff:)
