I have Autechre live in NYC 98 on mp3.. I was looking
around soulseek for other ae live stuff and found other
people had autechre live in nyc with many more tracks than i
have.. I'm just wondering , how many tracks should I have? I
have 6 at the moment.

Also, what autechre shows would people reccomend to
download?

The shows of Ae are cut differently I guess. Just download
any other live you can find, and see what's best.

Vancouver is a good one (most people have it as Ae and Aphex
in vancouver).
Coachella '99 is a good one too, it's quite long.

Others in my posession:
Manchester
Bowery
Roxy 2001
DEMF 2001
Mercury Jazz 2001
9.30 Club 2001
ATP 2001
Portland 2001
Vancouver 2001
and 04-11-2001 (don't know where).

And I've been looking for the Sonar 2001 set, but haven't
got it yet.

hmm ive got that sonar one

shame the bass is too loud in it, you can barely make out
any high end

especially since its mostly ep7 styled material

There are two versions: Sonar 2000 and 2001, are they the
same?

autechre at portland is awesome as well. beat frenzy, very
detached stuff, highly recommended

All of their sets performed in 2001 are about the same
concept, you often hear the same beats and all, but they
improvise with it actually.

the coolest thing is that I have a show that's recorded the
day after another one I have, and it is really different.

yes but this particular recording is the best quality. you
only really hear ppl talking in the first track. after that,
the audience reactions just enhance the music.

able to hear those live sets. Unless some kind soul would
like to donate a cdr of the mp3s to the cause ;)

Live @ Coachella 10/10/99
12+6 files
or in two files
(Ae live @ coachella Disc 1, .... Disc 2)

-------------------------------------------------------
Confield Tour 05/01:
Autechre live @ Sonar 2000 05/15/00 (Vancouver)
1file, 52.7MB, 46:30

Fake: Autechre Live @ Sonar 2001 (16MB)
this file is just a 47kbps Version of the 2000 bootleg
length 46:30

-------------------------------------------------------

Autechre live in Atlanta @ the Roxy (05/24/01)
6 files (1st track 16.577MB)

-------------------------------------------------------

Autechre live @ DEMF (Detroit Electronic Music Festival)
5/26/01 5files (1st track 14.688MB)

Other Live performances:

Autechre Live @ ATP 08/04/01
7 files, 160kbps (1st track 18.8MB)
or
5 files (4+bonusreaction),128kbps (1st track 15.7MB)

------------------------------------------------------

Autechre Live in London 11/04/01
5 files (1st track 20.281MB)

------------------------------------------------------

Autechre Live @ Manchester 13.04.01
9 tracks (1st track 5.722MB)

track #5 of this bootleg also comes as
"Autechre Live in Manchester" and is the same as
MCR Quarter, the bonus track on the japanese release of
Confield
(Mcr Quarter has a short fade-in)

-------------------------------------------------------
Autechre Live in Portland 17.05.01
8 files
-------------------------------------------------------

the most ambigous one comes in many versions, i haven't
found out
which one is accurate:

Autechre Live @ New York ('98 or '99)
Autechre Live @ 10 degrees 10/03/2000
11 files, (1st one: 15sec)
#5 is a great live mix of draun quarter

Other versions only consist of one big file (but the same
music
as the 11files version):
Autechre Live @ Vancouver
Aphex Twin + Autechre live @ Vancouver
(71MB or 69 MB version, both VBR)
the latter one can be considered as a hoax since there is no
single aphex track in them

Do you have all these yourself?

And the "Mercury Jazz 21/05/2001" sounds like a real one.

And do you have any info on what's calleds 'bowery ballroom
NYC' or so, may 2001?

more or less bad quality.
3)no, i don't know
i will share them with you on slsk at the end of the month
if i have enough transfer left (most probably that's the
case. u: r_rober, drop me a line)

i checked all the p2p networks, it took me quite a while to
sort out everything, there are a lot of hoaxes floating
round, and even worse, re-encodings at higher bitrate. The
ones i have are legit, i'm pretty sure.

dunno...

but i noticed the performance is quite different from the
others, apart from mcr quarter it contains another great,
very hiphopish track, #2.

has anybody an idea about the title? sounds like a remix
