Can anyone recommend a good (small) midi keyboard. I was
just thinking of getting a Edirol PCR-30. Does anyone know
about these or know if there is something better?

I don't use one but i think they are all pretty much the
same . You don't need any fancy stuff.

most crappy computer stores should have one.
dont spend a lot of money on one though, because you are
only using it to control the sounds inside your computer.
any old one should do

i dunno how many octaves you want

but i have a 4-octave roland pc-180a

has its own power, velocity sensitive of course, and the
keys have a nice action

I'm thinking of buying the little yellow keyboard on
this page

The MidiSmart with 3 octaves...I don't know if it's
velocity-sensitive though

I've got the pc160-a. Indeed value for money.
I fell in love with the novation25 controller, but's too
small and a it's cost a lot too. Dam'n the K4 would solve al
my probs. :)

I've got a Yamaha PSR-220. Nice, cheap, simple.
My brother bought one used from a music store. Ran him 50
bucks Canadian.
