i mean... look at aphex. easy going and repetitive stuff on
analogue bubblebath, next something more complex, some other
sounds, alwasy faster and faster... and then drukqs.... ah a
masterpice....

and me ? i mean... i made some simple tracks at the
beginning, something light. but now i'm making really fucked
up gabba hardcore or some experimental shit... i just can't
make anything else.
but now i'm afraid... i mean... i can't evolve further cause
there is no harder music....

make all the music you like without thinking about what
youre doing. That's the only way ahead. Somewhere in that
proces you will figure out that what you do in music has a
meaning no mather what.

There is no good or bad tracks in music. There is only
experimental and pop.

a few years ago i felt the same way about music

i was strictly into the hardest stuff, but then i realized
that you don't have to be hard on yourself and try to make
something that no lower than the hardest of hardcore. now i
just see it as a matter of good listening.

it depends on what mood you're in. if you feel laid back,
you could make music with slower rhythms, and pick up the
speed a bit if you feel energized, etc.

second question: yes i do
first question: i tried... i really like such chill out
music... but when i start such a song.... i tweak
everything...

and then

add 4 distorters maximum overkill 300 bpm full volume
granulizer and BANG !!

exactly.

it's best not to plan ahead. just improvise as you go along.
that way you won't be stressing over how the music will
sound.

exactly ! but i realised that it doesn't depend on my mood.
i just make bad hardcore or happy hardcore :)

I think you need to realise that your distorted attitude is
not getting you any in further in your music life. According
to how you describe your music I think not too many
people'll be interested in your music. Maybe one album, but
nor more.
You need alternation man. You can still make distorted
tracks, just make them different.
Like a distorted boards of canada kind of tune or maybe do
something freaky autechrish with some more distortion.
You can keep your distorted sound but you're just gonna have
to discover more ways of creating music.

you talk to much about distortion. that was only a
example... i mean the songs just get hardcore really (which
doesn't mean the are bad). i mean they are quite good the
songs, and their getting better... but like i said, i won't
evolve furhter that way

just do what you want to do sadist. if you bother thinking
about it too much, nothing really works out. this is what
ive found at least.

Hey, if making music won't work, you can always start pig
farming...

Just do whatever you feel like doing.
If it's always the same gabba hardcore thing, do it. If
that's what you're good at.
The first person you should make music for, is yourself. And
who knows what you'll be making next year? Maybe at some
point you'll get tired of hard stuff and make other things?

I realized, maybe temporarily, that one should emphasize
listening to music rather than creating. It is
necessary for someone to create it in order to listen to it
obviously, but the purpose is to achieve a mild
altered state of consciousness by listening to it. It
doesn't matter who creates it. Just pick one track you made
and like, and listen to it again and again to see if you
really like it. I don't know what I'm talking about.

sadist, i think its a problem many of us have... i cant
count how many times ive walked away from my computer
thinking "i am shit, why do i fucking bother" but i always
find myself back at it 20 minutes later.. fact is whether
your shit or not, if you have a passion for music you'll be
at it constantly, and you will improve personally and people
will notice... just make sure your not making music just
because everyone else is.. thats a one way street i think...

but dont worry sadist... from what you did to Nine Inch
Nails in the Salad Table Mix i can say you have the talent
in you :) just keep at it bruvva
