say, rhubarb or lichen off SAW 2? All the classical I hear,
I hate. Do you have any classical recommendations? minimal,
slow, melodic?

yes, elated. thousands of pieces of classical music are as
beautiful as those tracks on SAW2. i'm sorry you haven't
heard any classical music you like yet.

i recommend allmusic.com and surf your way through their
genres and tones.

there's this one album by chopin I LOVE. but I've heard
other chopin albums where they don't play it with the right
magic. It's hard to find this cd though.

lol, yea chopin's albums are marred by shitty mixing and
engineering! man, his producer should be shot!! ;)

well, there are sooo many chopin albums made by different
pianists. This one album is played by a very good pianist
though.

I allways love 'Pavane pour une Infante Défunte' by Ravel
or check some Debussy for some entry level beutiness

rubinstein maybe?
erik satie is nice and relaxing. uh, bachs brandenberg 5 is
the greatest piece of music from that era. go to
allmusic.com or a bookstore and sift through the classical
info.

I think you might actually mean adagio for strings with a
female vocalist

i like classical music more then idm. i wish someone would
combine classical music and idm sometime, that would be
wicked.

Didn't William Orbit do that? I've never heard the stuff,
but I figured that's why Barber's Adagio For Strings was so
popular in the IDM crowd.

bill orbit's album is the shit. and by that i mean its
terrible.
adagio for strings is beginner classical music. kick it up a
notch with some Haydn.

lol, typical elitest bullshit.

A good tune is a good tune. And William Orbit is a
talentless cock.

I've grown up on the NAXOS Classical CDs (especially Volume
Two), and although it's not really like SAWII, it's the best
classical music I've heard to date.

Oh! But if you dowant SAWII_like stuff, check out Led
Zeppelin's symphonic tribute called Kashmir.

It has a heart-melting rendition of Stairway to Heaven.

Top stuff!

Try listening to late night artsy radio stations and taking
down the names of the artists and tracks. Works for jazzy
and classical-tinged things.
