 | Spread the love for Ka-Spel and the boys. I've fallen completely in love with them, but it's overwhelming...
dozens of album plus all his solo stuff and work with other
artists... cEvin Key, Current 93, Nurse with Wound... such a
 tangled roadmap of music.

But there's nothing so awkwardly beautiful as the Dots, am I
right? Any Day Now and Crushed Velvet Apocalypse are
great... Golden Age, Chemical Playschool 10, Ka-Spel's
Tanith and the Lion Tree... too much music, too little time.

I know Flea loved Tanith and the Lion Tree... and props to
Cabbog for introducing me to them a while ago, but now
they've really hooked me. Where can you get CDs from these
 guys online?

 | excellent!
i had the privilage of seeing them live in Vancouver B.C. a
few years ago. It was at the starfish room, a tiny little
club; a beautiful and intimate performance. cevin key was
in the house that night. i didn't have the nerve to
 approach him though...

 | I like Tear Garden better than LPD, personally. cEvin Key is a genius! I ordered some stuff from Strange Fortune, and I'm
still waiting on my Hecate vs. Lustmord CD, and it's been a
very long time... They billed me for it already so they
better send it to me soon.

 | My favourite is Under Triple Moons - a collection of earlier songs. Even though the songs aren't directly related (that
I know of) they're mixed very, very well giving the album a
story-like feel. It's impossible for me to just listen to
one song and then quit, I always have to listen to all of
them together. It might be my favourite album ever.

 | And Ophecks, you need to get Comus's 'First Utterance' album. Wyrd-folk band that went under pretty quickly in the
early 70s and one of my absolute favorites. Look for the
 song 'Diana'.

Have you heard anything from 'The End' yet? I bet LeSnood
would really like it too. Nico's presence is so strong I
think she almost qualifies as my equal. I mean, in terms of
me listening to what she has to say despite her being a
 woman.

You should start marketing your picture archives on cdrs. I
bet you could make a fortune before you get gassed out of
your house and thrown in prison. Down here whenever anyone
gets in any legal trouble they go up there. Does it work
the same way backwards up there? Do people even get in
 trouble in Canada?

 | its bands like this that will give me heart attack some day for releasing so much music (like coil, nww, current 93,
swans (before they broke up), throbbing gristle etc). I
would like to know a good introductory album to get into

knows how long but I havent heard any yet so, I'll just buy
a cd and go from there.

 | Very tough to describe- pop/psychedelia/classical/chamber music/fantasy hybrid... they've got dozens of albums and
EPs, it's impossible to pin down their strange sound. Really
a little bit of everything. A common thread is all the
mythological and fantasy elements though, has a lot of
 imagination and quirky story telling.

it. ''Casting the Runes'' from Any Day Now is so sad,
boohoo! :_-( Right now I'm getting into All the King's
 Horses/All the King's Men dual 2002 releases.

 | I trust you gypsy boy. I have no money at the moment though - I'm still looking for a job that's semi-worthy of the
Cabbog. Electronics Boutique said they'd hire me as soon as
someone gets fired or they need assistance. I practically
work there already. I may have to pull a few shifts as a
grocery boy at Wegmans, which is okay since it's at the top
of the heirarchy. Nothing less will do.
