i started a thread about this not so long ago, but not much autechre fans answered... i was asking about opinions on how rdj or autechre produce their music... its not that i dont like them-i just cant get into them as im into some other idm musicians (sometimes i think they're just a product of warp, nothing behind it...) |

ok, they might be all that-they are technically skilled for sure, but the thing that somehow anoy me (yeah, perhaps i should use some other word)is that they are apreciated as much as aphex around here...and i agree with people here on almost any other musician... |

i dont mind that at all, but there are other people who deserve more credit for their work (as far as creating music is concerned) imo...but since warp is doing nothing to promote the work of this other people...this is only normal... |

hmm im one of those people who will listen to p.:ntil or parhelic triangle serveral times in a row :) but i rarely make it halfway thru an aphex or squarepusher track cause i just dont find them particularly interesting.. weve all got different taste. but i dont expect itll ever be left at that.. especially not online ;) [man thats got to be the best call ever in a thread like this!] feel free to have a go at my taste now, im off to bed :) |
