Amazing movie! You won't regret it. I got it off Soulseek a
while ago, make sure to get the subtitled version if you go
that route.

i had just gotten high, immediately before going into that
movie, and the beginning scared the shit out of me... the
part when the kids collar gets set off in the classroom...
very creepy...

LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLUSH.

I love the original, saw it for the first time on DVD about
6 months ago. Excellent film and the presentation is spot
on. Humorous/darkly ironic enough to not be disgusting yet
doesn't lower itself to a "hammer horror" level of violence
and gore.

Yeah, wery weird and cool. surprised so many has seen it
really!

Still, Takeshi kitano is in even better films. Hana-Bi and
Kikujouro can also be be reccomended from my side. =) (not
as violent, but great films in other ways.)

were you able to RENT this locally? or did you d/l. i really
wanna see this movie, but i fear i'll have to buy the dvd or

downloaded. i was under the impression that its nearly
impossible to find in the US.
anyone read the novel? its actually a bit more concise in
the message. makes more sense as to why the battle royale
program would exist. entertaining movie though.
