in the browser - the encoding always goes back to "Latin 9
ISO" when I try to change it to Western European! :(
I hate it because all ´s (apostrophes) turns into strange
chars. I don´t have this problem on any other site...
Anyone have an explenation and / or a solution..?

I have neither an explanation or a solution, but similiar
things happen to. It's usually the text size...

your apostrophes are Z's with a ^ on top of it.. well
sorta...

but i really dunno a solution

There is nothing wrong with anything here, because it only
happens at this site.... and yes, they become Z's with a ^
on top of it. But only my own posts, not others... strange!

XP Pro, IE 6. And I also see the questionmarks in your
posts, so we probably have the same settings changed...

have you noticed that your encoding says "Latin 9 (ISO)" but
with grey non-clickable text, while western european is
clickable? I think the letters change cuz the encoding isnt
installed....hmmm....

On my other workplace computer it becomes a Z, and the
browser there is IE 6. Can it have something to do with
that? Which browsers are you having?

IE6

maybe....but it's a normal thing considoring that this page
has been set to Latin 9 (read here) and that is a
fairly new text encoding. That means that it actually not
IE6's fault, more like your browsers fault. (also, you
should NOT use ´ , instead use ' ...it's right besides the
swedish-keyboard's enter-button)

Yes, I know about the ' but I got used to ´....

Some comments on the link:

", changing from ISO Latin 1 to ISO Latin 9 is a complicated
task, partly because so many program assume ISO Latin 1 as
the default character set. "

I suppose this board uses The Latin 9, and that IE 6 is a
program that does NOT default to Latin 1, but uses the one
that the page tells it to.
Can it be so?
