It's pretty nice in that it's fast and clicky, but it has a
sound like it was made on a tracker.. like I could picture
seeing how it would be laid out in a conventional way in
impulse tracker software, not that that matters. It was
repetitive too.. um, also the melody was nice, but it seems
like it should change after a couple repetitions of that or
something. There was the main melody line, then there was
the "background" notes that was a sort of polyphony, only
not really because they were merely lower octaves accenting
the said melody. The OTHER melody part sounded pretty good
with it, but again it sounded like it should change after
too much repetition for me.

I agree with w M w, you have some very good ideas but the
tracks do repeat a little too much.

You don't have to review mine because I have given up making
music so I am just deleting my web space :D

well I probably wont stop forever, just take an extended
break. :D

Ok Iroel I have listened to all of your tracks on zebox and
I like them a lot :D With some modifications they could be
as good as the stuff I spend my hard earned cash on :)

My shit is at this place. I suppose distorted high is
the closest peice to the stuff you do. The other two tracks
I have up there are piss about experiments I have done.

W m W:

The hardest thing about experimental tracks is to set the
standards to judge them.

This is definetely a cool track.
Even if most of the song was based on what could be
considered "noise" it menages to remain very well
strcutured. The effects are really cool and menage to take
your attention off from the central accelerated part. Also
very good was the melodic part, even if could have been
developed a little more.

The only problem with this is that I wouldn`t listen it to
enjoy, it would be a track that I would normally skip if it
was on my cd.

But anyway it is an experimental track, and menages to
accomplish the number 1 purpose of avant garde music: blow
your mind.

ecnadniarb: I'll review your tracks tomorrow. Anyway thanks
for the compliments, and I'll work hard to make those
modifications. =P

That's interesting that you would skip complex things. We
probably evolved different reasons to listen to music. I
wonder why I like this type of thing. You'd probably think I
was mad for listening to 8000 bc by otto von schirach as my
normal music.

I doubt any of you will like this one, I wrote it for my
girlfriend who likes bells and chimes, personally I find it
a bit boring but she likes it (maybe she is just being nice)
but here ya go. This is not my usual style...

Yeah. I'd like to hear other stuff you made sometime. That
melody is just as good as the last track in windowlicker
(except it didn't have fun wind up sounds, heh). (I have no
idea how to write melodies).

well damn, that fboo songs kicks! what program did you use
to make that?

(the melody in the fboo song is cool, I dont know what your
talking about, not knowing how to make melodies)

seriously? thanks! you made my evening!

I used modplug tracker. I actually like the melody in that
track, but it's rare I accidently do that. Even then, it's
just a repetitive melody based on a round (like row, row,
row your boat..) I couldn't do anything continuous like your
melody. (well I only listened to it once so far, I don't
think it's looped in much of a way yet)

oh and that 1 click song...is that really only one click?
Nice song, just hard to believe it was built off of one
sound

modplug tracker, ill have to check into that, right now im
using performer and protools (which Im having a hard time
with)

I always write my music at school (i dont have any music
software at my house) So im wondering when I do start
getting some stuff of my own, what I should get.

1 click- yeah, well you can get a little bit of variety by
playing the same sound in a different octave, and the
"melodies" were really just that same click sped up fast at
different rates per "note" (at the same pitch though, but
now at a really high octave since it was so fast). Well I
like modplug, but it is old software. I'm just used to it
(it's the only thing I've ever used practically) and havn't
gotten into anything new. There's probably something better,
but you could always try multiple things.

i like the different intertwining melodies, and the
stuttering drums. they could have some more variation,
particularly in the kick drum sound, but it's short enough
to stay pretty interesting throughout the whole song.

hello.
you got a real nice melody going there, it lacks a bit of
bass though, would have been wicked.
twas a good set of perc samples too, but as q4z2x(?) said it
could have used some variation.
feel free to review my bits aswell:
