Last night i went to see the super furries in cambridge, which was the best gig ever. The thing is, there is a big aphex twin influence on one of the songs where jesus is tripping i think and has the drilling bass.
Agree?

Lotta aphex influences out there, so yeah , probably ...... Was that track off Radioheads Kid A ever described by the band as Aphex influenced? Because it sounded like an aphex remix of Radiohead to me.....

the sad thing about this new radiohead sound, is what the hell are the band members doing? Sitting around the keyboard with the lead singer watching him push buttons? theres like barley any live instruments.. if there are, they're done on a fuckin drum machine or a keyboard.

I don't see why people hate on the new radiohead... I was never big into radiohead, untill I heard Kid A, I think it's wonderful... *shrug*
And they have a good deal of guitar / drum stuff still, so I think you're over exadurating a bit.

i think that alot of people's 'influences' are attribbuted to the aphex twin far too much. richard d. james is terribly over rated. these influences should be attributed to the movement and developement of electronic music over the last few years. i accept that the aphex twin has has a great deal to do with this movement and developement, but still, it is not solely all down to him.
