Q and Mojo have really slagged it off! (not really that surpirsingly judging the indie content that dominates the magazines) but amusing nonetheless!

This piece of Aphex Twin is only meant to be enjoyed by the hard core junkies that really dig his music. Not these mainstream cunts.

I seem to remember windowlicker, come to daddy, and SAW II all got mixed receptions from some/ hammered by others. I think theyre great. Q and Mojo think Ash, Dodgy and the Bluetones are good. They're shit. Great minds listen to DrukQs and fools listen to what sycophantic tossers in trendy magazines tell them to.
From what I"ve read on this site there are at least 2 or 3 tracks on DrukQs worthy of RDJs gold collection and thats good enough for me.

But RDJ has become very popular with the trendy set over the past couple of years, especially with Thom Fuckbox Yorke banging on about him.

Mojo and Q have never been Aphex admirers, nor do I think that there has ever really been a big article on him the past 10 years.
Mojo and Q are fans of Oasis, Bob Dylan or just basically Brit-guitar pop.
Select, Jockey Slut, NME, even Rolling Stone magazine all have had thumbs up for Aphex's releases in the past.
I dont care what people say about DrukQs because its bloody brilliant IMO.
Dont ever forget the same thing happened to Selected Ambient Works 2, it was a love/hate thing. Mixed reviews all over the place...........true masterpieces are always conufusing and hard to understand at first.
I think DruKqs has the same problem as SA 2. And where does Selected Ambient Works vol 2 stand now?? Now, 7 years later its regarded as one of the most important works of the 90's. one of the shining lights of electronic music and praised into the heavens.
People are often slow to catch on and dont be fooled, RDJ is always a step ahead of the rest.
The problem with RDj is his legacy where his expectations as an innovator are unmatched by any other electronic artist the past 11 years.
Whenever the Orb or Orbital have come out with something within the past 4 years its somehow always regarded as it being pretty good.
Even though both Orb and Orbital are ofcourse one of the more innovative acts in the early 90's they never got the same amount of praise as RDJ did then.
To some of you younger and newer fans..in those days Aphex was basically considered God or some kinda messiah and was never regarded just an equal with other electronic acts, he was basically seen as some kinda Tiger Woods or Jordan, untouchable which in my opinion he still is today, its just that he hasnt released much within these past 5 years thats all
