With the buzz about Grandaddy hereabouts lately I decided to download some from EMusic... I got Concrete Dunes, listening to it now. Like it a lot. Has elements of a lot of stuff I like - Neutral Milk Hotel, Beatles, Pavement, and Radiohead (minus the suck). Does anyone here know this and Sophtware Slump? Is it similar to Concrete Dunes? |

Wow, I listened to all of Concrete Dunes last night - it's fucking great! I'm gonna see if they have Sophtware Slump at my favorite musique boutique tonite. Radiohead - are they like broccoli? Do I have to eat them? |

"but if you're no radiohead fan, I question your credibility" LOLOLOL, radiohead arent the be all and end all of music! fleetmouse: i recommend "sophtware slump" and "under the western freeway" sophtware slump is more electronic, and probably has tighter production. but Under the Western freeway has some great tracks, grandaddy sounds so lonely and innocent. heh, not big headed like radiohead. |
