Cats have these musk glands just inside their anuses that produce a special stink so when they take a dump it marks their territory. Apparently when their poop is too soft, taking a dump doesn't drain the glands properly, and they can get backed up and infected. So when I brought him in, the vet took some paper towel and drained the glands (I didn't look to close) then he got two weeks of antibiotics. I hope I don't have to take him back again and again to get his ass manhandled... Hit reload to see the cat who has ass troubles... |

Oh, and how I knew he had it - he was licking and licking so I knew there was somthing wrong back there... I'm just glad it wasn't his urine backing up again. He had to have a urethraplasty last year because he kept backing up. It seems to have worked... it was either $$$urgery or death, adn he's my best buddy, soooo.... |
